BACKGROUND

Marcia Rowe became the sole founder of Time-2-Talk Counselling in 2005. The demand for additional therapeutic interventions expanded, and the service was renamed Facet Therapy in 2014. The transformation created a space for young children to learn through play, facilitated by parent-child interaction, known as Time-2-Play. Young people had the opportunity to access counselling sessions in school and at one of the consultation rooms in West London, to discuss school challenges, while parents engaged in family therapy.

With over 25 years of therapeutic practice, Marcia has consistently delivered excellent services in communities. She possesses extensive clinical experience in supporting children, young people, and their families, and maintains a strong professional regard for both her clients and the practitioners with whom she collaborates.

Currently, Marcia continues to run a successful therapy practice, offering online and telephone counselling and psychotherapy. Her work is governed by professional standards authorities that enable her to run Facet Therapy effectively. As a highly recognised therapist, Marcia had been trained by some of the top clinicians and professors in child and adolescent mental health, including Margot Sunderland, Camila Batmanghelidjh, Dan Hughes, and Ellie Baker. She graduated from the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education and Leeds Beckett University to fulfil her aspirations.

In addition to Marcia's therapeutic services, she is also a published co-author with Kelita Wood at KidsTime2Play (formerly known as Time-2-Play). Together, they continue to support children's development during their author visits, making learning enjoyable as they engage teachers and the children in their excellent, diverse stories. Their recent publication of two children's activity books and affirmation cards was greatly received to help young children build on their fundamental skills.
